Help Kids Be Kids This Fall!

Fall is a time of excitement as kids return to school. But for many single moms in poverty, the extracurricular activities that children look forward to can be out of reach. That means less support for moms outside of school hours, and less opportunities for their children to develop skills and spend time with peers. Families deserve more! You can support the healthy development of Vancouver children living in poverty by supporting Mom2Mom’s Happy Healthy Children program.

Help Kids Thrive

Happy Healthy Children provides financial support for children’s activities such as swimming lessons, sports, jiu jitsu, horseback riding, music lessons, theatre, and more!

This fall, our goal is to raise $20,000 to ensure access to extracurriculars for children living in poverty. Your gift of $50, $100, $250 or more will help KIDS BE KIDS, as they develop healthy brains, bodies, relationships, and overall well being.

I'll Help Kids be Kids!

AND… because of the generous support of a matching donor, your gift today will DOUBLE, giving the same opportunity to twice the number of families!

We’ve seen firsthand how enriching activities outside of school and home promote:

  • Improved mental health
  • A stronger sense of peer belonging
  • Higher levels of academic achievement over time
  • Greater resilience and self-confidence
  • Critical life skills, such as leadership, cooperation, communication, and peer interaction
  • Positive habits such as time management skills, community involvement, and persistence
  • Decreased stress and stronger parental attachment

"My son loves going to jiu jitsu so much. It makes me happy to see him so excited, and doing so well. I can see his confidence building, and I’m so grateful for this opportunity for him."
